Sunday Practices
Have a slow morning - sometimes we just need to take the day to collect and regroup our thoughts - so my thought is relax whether its in bed, cuddling on the couch and just enjoy the tranquility.
Write a to-do list on your phone or planner if that’s your thing and get ready for your week ahead. Write down important tasks you need to conquer or dates you need to remember
Meal Prep - If your schedule is as chaotic as mine where I sometimes neglect to eat, you will thank me later because it will save you money, save time and leave less room for stress
Plan your outfits - Ha! Sometimes this is a great idea because it just saves time. However, I am guilty of setting my clothes for the week and if you are anything like me where I dress according to my mood or change your outfits 20 times before you decide then this may or not work. These are all suggestions, call me an optimist. 🤪🤪
Self care - Is the big one here! We get so busy and burnt out during the week that we forget about ourselves because we are too busy caring for everyone else that we need to tend to our mental stability. Think about it..if we are burned to the ground, we will be absolutely useless to anyone else.
Go to bed early - This is huge - If you get enough rest, you will have enough energy to tackle the rest of your week. For those that have difficulty resting like I do, I use scented lavender spray on my pill, put on a lavender diffusor and tell my “Alexa” to play calming sounds and sleep like a baby.
